Five years ago, we took our
first trip together to Moab.
We climbed Ancient Art in Fisher Towers,
and after making it back down,
Carleton asked Alex to be his girlfriend.
She said “we’re already dating.”
We spent the rest of the weekend exploring Arches National Park,
hiking, swimming, watching the stars, and falling in love with this
corner of the desert together.
A lot has happened in the five years since. We’ve traveled through Costa Rica and Mexico, skied in Japan, spent countless weekends camping, climbing, and exploring closer to home, and eventually got engaged on a ski trip through British Columbia.
Through all of it, we’ve kept coming back to Moab.
It holds some of our earliest memories together, along with so many we’ve made since. And now, years after that first trip, we get to bring all of our favorite people here and add a pretty big one to the list!
We can’t think of a place we’d rather get married!
