Location + Weather

All wedding festivities will be held outdoors at Upper Onion Creek Group Campground. Desert weather can swing from hot + sunny during the day to surprisingly chilly after dark, so check the forecast and pack layers! We’ll be celebrating outside rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever the desert decides to throw our way.
Shuttles

For guests staying in downtown Moab, we’ll provide shuttles to + from the wedding on Saturday 5.22 only. For all other weekend festivities — the full moon hike, river float, welcome party, etc. — you’ll need your own transportation.
We’ll have staggered shuttle departures throughout the wedding night, with the last shuttle leaving at
11:30 PM. And we mean LAST. SHUTTLE. The campground is about 30 minutes outside of town
and Uber does not exist out there.
Do not miss it… unless you want to experience cowboy camping for the night!
Kids/Dogs

The wedding weekend is kid + dog friendly! If you’re bringing a pup, we just ask that they’re friendly and comfortable around other dogs, as there will be dogs off leash throughout the weekend.
Kids are absolutely welcome, but if you’re bringing little ones, we kindly ask that you stay in a hotel in Moab or at a separate campground. We love you, we love your kids, and we also know our campground crew may be celebrating well into the night. There are plenty of campsites along the river nearby if you still want the full camping experience — just with a little more peace + quiet when it’s time for bed.

What do I Wear? 🪩

Pack layers! Everything this weekend will be outside, and May in Moab can be 80° - 90°F during the day and 50° - 60°F at night. If you’re joining us for any of the weekend adventures, make sure you bring whatever you’ll need to hike, float, camp + play outside comfortably.
Welcome Party:Keep it casual! We’ll be around the campfire with drinks + s’mores, so wear whatever you’re comfortable spending a night outside in.
Wedding Attire
The theme is 🪩DESERT DISCO🪩. Think bright colors, funky prints, sequins, feathers, fringe, groovy suits — anything that makes you feel like DANCING. Have fun with it!
A few practical notes: skip the stilettos (they’ll disappear straight into the sand),
and bring a fun jacket or extra layer for when the desert cools down after dark.
